Fist Pumpin’ for Pizza! The Jersey Shore Cast Takes Over Italian Pizzeria!

“Aww yeah, pizza yeah!”

“It’s pizza tiiiiiime….”

The cast of MTV’s wildly popular TV show, Jersey Shore, is in Italy this season … and working in none other than an Italian pizza shop!

We’re not sure that we would necessarily trust Snooki to make us our pizza, but,  Pauly D claims he’d be good at spinning pizza – after all, he IS a DJ. (And, he was in Pittsburgh this past weekend – Pauly D, next time you’re in town, we invite you to Pizza Sola for pizza that is BPE…..Best Pizza Ever!)

So, the “Situation” is this – we are thinking that our New York pizza would be best for the Jersey Shore cast (after all, some of them are actually from NY and not NJ!) however, many of them have Sicilian roots, so, Pauly D, are you listening? Try our Sicilian pizza. Or, how about a pizza topped with “meatballs” since that’s what Snooki and Deena call themselves?

As for all of you Jersey Shore fans from the ‘Burgh, we want to know what kind of Pizza Sola you enjoy for your Jersey Shore viewing parties. Why not munch on some pizza as you watch the cast make pizza….and many, many gloriously bad choices?

It’s a good time – Pizza Sola!

Pssst…. PS: If you were to make an ultimate “Jersey Shore” kind of pizza, what would YOU put on it? Leave a Comment and let us know!

Check out this pic of Jenni “J Woww” making pizza in Italy.

New York Stle Pizza in Pittsburgh?!

Pizza Sola brings a piece of the Big Apple to the Burgh’ with their classic New York Style Pizza! New York Pizza

You’ve probably been fooled many times before, but this isn’t just another pizza claiming to replicate the “city that never sleeps” signature pies.  This is the real deal! You will find evidence that Pizza Sola’s New York Style Pizza is the real deal in the SIZE and the TaStE of every piece.  One slice is about the size of your head making is so big you have to fold it in half to eat it, or dare I say pull out a fork and a knife?  Sola also imports the sauce, Sanmarzano, to assure you get that New York taste, and there is more than enough mozzarella and romano cheese sprinkled on top to satisfy you.  If you like thin crust, this is the pizza for you.  If you don’t, you will now.

You could grab one on your way home from work, or better yet stop by the Oakland location on a Monday Night during Pizza Sola’s Happy Hour where from 9-11pm you get  25% OFF of all drafts and imports.  What could be better than beer and the best in Pittsburgh pizza at the same time?  If you’re not into drinking you could also grab some of Boylan’s Flavored Soda, a specialty drink with a wide  range of fruity flavors!

Bottom line.  Make Monday a Sola night, or any night of the week for that matter a Sola night, to get hot eats and refreshing drinks.
