The Godfather Pizza

No, it’s not the 2011 re-release of the infamous Godfather film, but dare I say it’s almost just as exciting or possibly even better? Ok that might be pushing it, but Pizza Sola’s pizza known as “The Godfather” is nothing short of infamous itself.
This pizza is covered with HOMEMADE savory Italian sausage, stuffed with roasted red peppers, and smothered in ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. Take it from someone who knows, it’s a BANGIN‘ mouth-watering combination. If you don’t believe me, you can just ask the customers. The Godfather was voted one of the top Pizza Sola pizzas turning it into a menu favorite, so obviously Sola is doing something right! If you are still not convinced, taking one bite out of a slice should finally seal the deal and put your mind at ease!
Again, even though it’s not a feature film, the Godfather is the PERFECT take out to grab if you are thinking of staying in and watching one. Swing by the Oakland, East Side, or South Side Pizza Sola location on your way home to pick one up, or another one of your favorite Pittsburgh Pizzas! While you’re at it go ahead and add a bucket of infamous wings (I’d go with the Island Teriyaki), or an order of garlic knots. Then again, if you get too carried away after discovering the magnificent taste of Pizza Sola you might develop a bad habit you can’t break!
New York Stle Pizza in Pittsburgh?!
New York Pizza
You’ve probably been fooled many times before, but this isn’t just another pizza claiming to replicate the “city that never sleeps” signature pies. This is the real deal! You will find evidence that Pizza Sola’s New York Style Pizza is the real deal in the SIZE and the TaStE of every piece. One slice is about the size of your head making is so big you have to fold it in half to eat it, or dare I say pull out a fork and a knife? Sola also imports the sauce, Sanmarzano, to assure you get that New York taste, and there is more than enough mozzarella and romano cheese sprinkled on top to satisfy you. If you like thin crust, this is the pizza for you. If you don’t, you will now.
You could grab one on your way home from work, or better yet stop by the Oakland location on a Monday Night during Pizza Sola’s Happy Hour where from 9-11pm you get 25% OFF of all drafts and imports. What could be better than beer and the best in Pittsburgh pizza at the same time? If you’re not into drinking you could also grab some of Boylan’s Flavored Soda, a specialty drink with a wide range of fruity flavors!
Bottom line. Make Monday a Sola night, or any night of the week for that matter a Sola night, to get hot eats and refreshing drinks.
