Many of you have been asking about it for a long time… And it’s finally here! Pizza Sola is proud to announce that delivery service is now available at our Cranberry location.
For all of you pizza connoisseurs who might be too busy to pick up a pizza yourself, we’re bringing it to you! That’s right; you don’t even have to leave your house for a slice of Pittsburgh’s Best Pizza! Our Pizza Makers in Cranberry are now sending pizza out the door and straight to wherever you might be!
This service is for you, our customer, so take advantage of it! The temperature is rising so don’t let your temper get even hotter in all of the traffic out there! Just call in, order from us, and we’ll bring the pizza right to your door!
You say you’re trying to get in shape for beach season? No problem! Order one of our Margarita Pizzas, or maybe an Herbivore for a light or health conscious option. Why not order a Hawaiian Pizza to put you in the mood for summer? Even better, why not create your own style, and let us know how it is! We would love to hear what types of Pizza you think are the best in the summer time.
Most importantly, the Buccos are finally back in town which means it’s baseball season so sit back, give us a call, and enjoy the game while we bring the pizza to you!
“Aww yeah, pizza yeah!”
“It’s pizza tiiiiiime….”
The cast of MTV’s wildly popular TV show, Jersey Shore, is in Italy this season … and working in none other than an Italian pizza shop!
We’re not sure that we would necessarily trust Snooki to make us our pizza, but, Pauly D claims he’d be good at spinning pizza – after all, he IS a DJ. (And, he was in Pittsburgh this past weekend – Pauly D, next time you’re in town, we invite you to Pizza Sola for pizza that is BPE…..Best Pizza Ever!)
So, the “Situation” is this – we are thinking that our New York pizza would be best for the Jersey Shore cast (after all, some of them are actually from NY and not NJ!) however, many of them have Sicilian roots, so, Pauly D, are you listening? Try our Sicilian pizza. Or, how about a pizza topped with “meatballs” since that’s what Snooki and Deena call themselves?
As for all of you Jersey Shore fans from the ‘Burgh, we want to know what kind of Pizza Sola you enjoy for your Jersey Shore viewing parties. Why not munch on some pizza as you watch the cast make pizza….and many, many gloriously bad choices?
It’s a good time – Pizza Sola!
Pssst…. PS: If you were to make an ultimate “Jersey Shore” kind of pizza, what would YOU put on it? Leave a Comment and let us know!

As the new Batman movie, “The Dark Knight Rises” has taken to the streets of Pittsburgh to film, converting our city into Gotham, Pizza Sola was left wondering …. What kind of pizza would Batman like?
Some reports state that Batman’s favorite food is nachos – so would he enjoy a cheesy slice with a touch of jalapeño?
Or, how about our Vendetta pizza? That sure seems appropriate given the history of The Caped Crusader.
We’re guessing that Catwoman would opt for one of our leaner choices like our vegan pie to keep her fab figure for that skintight black catsuit!
We asked in the past about your favorite Pizza and Movie pairings – so which pie would you choose for a Batman movie marathon?

Summer’s in full swing in Pittsburgh: PNC Park is packed with people for Pirate games (finally), different venues around the city are filled nightly with the noise of summer concerts and IT IS HOT OUTSIDE. Luckily, Pizza Sola has a few menu items that are perfect for these hot summer nights.
Pizzas light on toppings like our Bianca pizza and Margherita pizza are great for those dog days, while the Hawaiian or Fire Island white pizzas can provide a flavor kick appropriate for the summer months.
Pie is a staple of any American summer, and at Pizza Sola you can choose from Dutch Cherry, Dutch Blueberry or Caramel Apple for dessert. We also offer the always delectable Smore pie made with Nutella, graham crackers and marshmallows. It’s like making smores by the campfire, except without the camp or the fire. Or the stick. Or the mess. And in a pizza place. It has very little in common with making smores by the campfire, but at least it tastes the same, or dare I say, better.
Along with these ideal summer menu items, each Pizza Sola offers a wide variety of drinks to quench your thirst (the Ginger Beer is awesome!) and the Oakland location offers a bar to quench your legally of-age thirst. Stop by Pizza Sola today (or tomorrow, we don’t want to rush you) and let us know what’s YOUR favorite thing to have during Summertime Pizzatime!
